Initial Consultation with KP Chiropractic - £60.00

All new patients will have an Initial Consultation.
This is an in depth conversation about you; the pain or discomfort you are experiencing, along with your medical history.

During this Initial Consultation, a thorough clinical examination will be performed. This may include taking your Pulse and Blood Pressure, as well as performing a Physical Examination to test the range of movement and response of your joints and muscles. Orthopaedic and Neurological testing may be performed as appropriate.

These tests will enable me to diagnose your condition, so that I can treat you safely, and formulate the most appropriate treatment plan for you.
Please be advised that you will not receive a treatment during this appointment.
Allow up to 45 minutes for this appointment.

Follow Up Treatment - £55.00

Please ensure you have previously had or booked in an Initial Consultation, prior to booking in for a follow up treatment.

At every appointment, I take a whole body approach and assess you from head to toe, making Chiropractic adjustments as appropriate.
Soft tissue modalities may be used, such as massage, cupping and acupuncture, with your permission.
I may give you some homework, in the form of an exercise and/or a stretching program. These will complement the treatment you are receiving and encourage your body to accept the changes that have been made.

Epley Manoeuvre - £60.00

Epley Manoeuvre - Treatment for the condition, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).

What is Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo?
BPPV is a condition of the inner ear.
Inside the ear are three loop-shaped structures, called the semicircular canals. These canals have tiny hairs known as cilla, which control balance. BPPV develops when calcium carbonate crystals (otoconia), become dislodged and trapped within the semicircular canals.
With certain head movements, the otoconia moves and stimulates the cilia. They transmit information about balance to the brain and cause dizziness and vertigo.

Treating BPPV
The Epley maneuver should only be performed by trained medical professionals.
The maneuver is a series of head movements, performed in a specific order, designed to relocate the calcium carbonate crystals (otoconia).
The maneuver is a safe and effective method, which normally resolves symptoms immediately.

The Epley Manoeuvre takes around 5 minutes to perform. However, please allow up to 45 minutes for the entire appointment.

YOUR SAFETY:

A) Providing complete and accurate information to KP Chiropractic will ensure that you will receive a safe and effective treatment. Please complete the Medical Questionnaire and any other documentation, in full, prior to your appointment. Include all your medical history, even if you do not feel it is relevant.

B) Keeping us up to date and notifying us of any changes to your health or well-being, including new medications, diagnosis or new investigations, will ensure it is safe for you to be treated.


CANCELLATION POLICY:

KP Chiropractic is a small business, and we operate a fair policy cancellation agreement.
Charges will incur for no-show appointments and late cancellations.

A) Patients who fail to attend their appointment, without prior notice to KP Chiropractic, will be charged the full value of their appointment.

B) Late cancellations, within 24 hours of the appointment time, will be charged 50% of the value of the appointment. Late cancellations within 8 hours of the appointment time, will be charged the full value of the appointment.

C) It is with KP Chiropractic’s discretion, that cancellation fees may be waived. You will be asked to show proof of reasoning for a late cancellation for consideration.
